On Friday IRSC defeated SJR 11-2 in game one of a double header in Ft. Pierce.
Sophomore pitcher Auria Mounts (11-2) got the win.
Freshmen Michalyn Bingham and Savannah Julylia both had three hits each. Sophomore outfielder Stefany Collins blasted her team leading eighth home run of the season. Collins finished 2-3 with four runs batted in.
In game two the Pioneers dropped a hard fought 9-6 game to the Vikings of St Johns River State College.
Sophomore pitcher Hailey Andrews (11-6) took the loss.
Freshman Taylor Schmidt led the offense going 3-3 with a run batted in. Andrews and Michalyn Bingham chipped in two hits each.
