Tuesday's away game against Easter Florida State College marked the first conference game of the season for the Pioneer Volleyball Team. The Pioneers came out a little slow dropping the first set (18-25), but quickly bounced back to win the second (25-18). However, the Indian River Volleyball Team never really was able to find their rhythm and ultimately were defeated in the 4th set (20-25)(23-25). The IRSC Offense was led by Re'Na Ashley and Jeyhlen Thomas, both with 10 kills. Jasmine Sayre led the Pioneers defensively, racking up 21 digs on the night. Indian River plays their next match on Thursday at home against Miami-Dade at 6pm.
