The Indian River State College volleyball team (13-10) closed its 2019 season on Thursday, October 24, falling to Florida State College of Jacksonville in a close five set match.
The Indian River Pioneers fought hard in their final match of the year, but were unable to pull off the win at the FCSAA state play in match.
"It was a disappointing loss for us, but not one without lessons learned for the next time we compete as a team," head coach Stephanie Skidmore said. "With a core group of excellent players expected to return healthy next season, the future of the team is very bright."
