IRSC Swimming and Diving Wins on the Road at Florida Southern College

The IRSC men's and women's teams were both victorious this past Friday when they travelled to Lakeland Florida to compete against the team from Florida Southern College.

The women's started the meet off with the medley relay team of Kaylin de Almeida, Masha Prime, Ella Gates, and Olivia Ciancimino taking the victory in the 400medley relay. Both de Almeida and Gates would go on to also win an individual event taking the 100 Backstroke and 100 butterfly respectively. Sophomore Ester Rydbeck took the victory in the 400 IM while freshman Carla Meikle secured the victory in her two individual events taking he win in the 200 and 100 freestyle. She then joined teammates Olivia Ciancimino, Sydney Weatherspoon, and Ashley Sterchele to win the 400 freestyle relay.
