FORT PIERCE, FL - Indian River women's basketball host Eastern Florida in a Citrus Conference showdown on Saturday, January 27th.
Indian River struggled to score from the start, allowing Eastern to take an early 18-7 lead. From here, the Pioneers continued to battle but could not find their groove as the Titans defeated Indian River 83-38. Freshman Jordan Boddie led the Pioneers in scoring, contributing 13 points.
"Today just wasn't our day, we struggled from start to finish. We could not find our rhythm on either side of the floor," Coach Robinson noted.
With the loss, the Pioneers are 13-7 on the season and 7-4 in Citrus conference play. Next match is Wednesday, January 31st on the road against Florida Southwestern State College.
