Saturday Afternoon in Fort Pierce, Florida. Indian River Women's Basketball faced St Thomas University JV in a non-conference matchup. The River used two single digit quarters to overpower the Bobcats in blowout fashion winning 91 – 38.
Freshmen guard Jordan Boddie scored 26 points, eight assist and five rebounds. Jasmine Peaks tallied 19 points, five assists and four rebounds. Elesi Simmons came off the bench and scored 10 points and three rebounds.
With the win the Pioneers are 2 – 1 on the season. The next matchup will be on the road Wednesday November 15th against Palm Beach State.
