Wednesday evening Indian River State College traveled to Florida Southwestern to compete for Southern Conference Championship. The River started the game off slow and would eventually lose by 3 points 67 – 64, falling second in conference play.
Freshmen point guard Jeannie Scott scored 24 points, four steals and four assists. Sophomore guard Breanna Campbell tallied 19 points, 10 rebounds, four assist and three steals.
With the lost, the River fall 12-3 overall and 6-2 in Southern Conference play. The River will finish the season at home against Miami Dade on Monday March 29th at 5pm.
