IRSC Women’s Basketball Win at Santa Fe College

After the first couple possession sophomore guard Maryanne Logsdon suffered a knee injury after attempting a layup on the offensive end. With the injury Maryanne was out for the reminder of the game, the Pioneers had to depend on the veteran sophomores to get the job done. It wasn't until the fourth quarter the River created defensive stops that helped pick up their fifth road win. The River went on to win 66 – 56 against Santa Fe College

Sophomore guard Breanna Campbell led the River in scoring with 22 points, 11 rebounds, four assist and three steals. Miya Kimber contributed 15 points and six rebounds. Freshmen Aniyah Jenkins contributed 10 points and nine rebounds.

"I am proud of the way we found a way to get it done, Maryanne is a big piece and what we do here at the River. Having multiple players step up helped us get the win on the road against a gritty Santa Fe team" Coach Robinson noted.

With the win the River currently stands, 10 – 2 on the season. Ranked 4th in the state of Florida and 19th nationally.
