The Pioneers traveled last Saturday to the Seminole Indian Reservation in Okeechobee and defeated St. Thomas convincingly 16-1. Highlights from the community sponsored event included strong pitching performances from both Dom Prevette and Alina Varga, including a combined 13 strikeouts through 5 innings. The offense explosion included sixteen total hits, led by hometown Freshman (3B) Elle Thomas who was 2-4 with 4 RBI's. Baserunners added eleven stolen bases. Upon returning from Spring Break IRSC will host Eastern Florida on Wednesday March 22 (2:00 and 4:00pm) to begin conference play.
