The Lady Pioneers completed the season sweep over Daytona State last night with two stellar performances.
Both games featured dominating pitching performances from Alina Varga and Dominique Prevette.
The sophomore tandem combined for 24 strikeouts, giving up only 3 runs in 14 innings of work.
The team offense was aggressive throughout the evening, contributing 12 runs on 15 hits and 13 stolen bases in the doubleheader wins.
Bridget Dunham, Kyla Knier, Adrianna Portanova and Raylyn Roland each had multiple hits.
Indian River hits the road again heading to Columbus, Georgia, to compete (5 games) in the prestigious NFCA Leadoff Classic (March 3-4)
