IRSC women's softball team won twice on Friday defeating Miami Dade College 1-0 and 6-1.
In the opening game Nicolette Luzzi' s single drove scored Daija Torchia in the hard fought 1-0 extra inning victory.
Sophomore pitcher Taylor Wroten tossed a complete game. In game two sophomore pitcher Devan Ryan went the distance in the 6-1 Pioneer victory.
Nicolette Luzzi drove in two runs in the first inning with her fourth homerun on the season. Raelyn Rowland, Cassidy Crump and Daija Torchia all had run scoring hits for IRSC
The conference leading Pioneers play Saturday at the Seminole Brighton Athletic Complex taking on South Florida State College. Game times are 1:00 & 3:00.
