Indian River State colleges women's softball team open the 2021 conference season winning five of six games during the team's spring break week.
The Lady Pioneers open the conference season sweeping Miami Dade in Ft. Pierce on Saturday, March 13th. IRSC won the opening game 5-4 and followed up with a 5-0 shutout to complete the sweep of the visiting MDC Sharks.
On Wednesday, March 17th the Lady Pioneers took on Eastern Florida State in Melbourne. IRSC took the opening game 6-3 and completed the sweep winning game two 10-7.
Sunday March 21 IRSC traveled to Miami to take on Miami Dade College. After taking the opening game 6-3 the Pioneers dropped the final game of the week 3-2.
The 22-5 (5-1) Pioneers will return to action on March 31st, taking on Eastern Florida State in Ft. Pierce. Game times are at 2:00 & 4:00. Spectators are allowed to attend all IRSC Athletic events.
