IRSC WINS PANTHER INVITE

After three days of competition at the Panther Invitational held at Florida Institute of Technology, both the men's and women's swimming teams came away with victories over five other colleges from around the state.

IRSC managed to take the lead from day one and extended each day with impressive swims throughout the competition.

Action on Day 1 saw wins come from the women's 200 free relay (Sara Safranko, Ana Villamil, Ane Meier, and Sarah Gonzalez), women's 400 Medley relay (Nika Tomic, Ana Villamil, Sophia Diaz, and Sara Safranko), and the men's 400 medley relay (Gabriel Morales, Kito Campbell, Josh Parry, and Riccardo Pandin).

Individual Event winners included Ane Meier and Owen McLaughlin in the 200 IM, and Sara Safranko in the 50 free.

On Day 2, IRSC won the women's 200 medley relay with Maja Przybylska, Ana Villamil, Sophia Diaz, and Sara Safranko. On the men's side, it was Owen McLaughlin, Kito Campbell, Josh Parry, and Riccardo Pandin. The team also went on to win the 800 free relays with the women's team consisting of Safranko, Meier, Diaz, and Giulianna Garcia. On the men's side it was Parry, McLaughlin, Tom Ferguson, and Pandin.

Individual winners included Paola Gonzalez and Anderson Brown (400 IM), Sophia Diaz (100 Fly), and Kito Campbell (100 breast).

Day 3 action saw Billy Johnson win the 1650 free, Nika Tomic and Gabriel Morales win the 200 Back, Sara Safranko and Riccardo Pandin win the 100 Free, Kito Campbell in the 200 Breast, and Sophia Diaz in the 200 Fly.

The team of Villamil, Safranko, Meier, and Diaz also won the 400 freestyle relay.
