Swimming & Diving Champion Michael Deans is heading to Alabama

South Africa's Michael Deans, will graduate from Indian River and enrolled into University of Alabama this fall. 

Deans annouced his committment in the fall of 2021, his performacne this weekend at the NJCAA Championship proves why he will be an awesome addition to Crimson Tide Program. Dean scored 72 individual points at the National Championships, winning 100 breast in 53.64. Dean also won the men's 200 breast, swimming a 1:57.65. With the win, Michael Dean helped the Pioneers win their 48th National Championship in a row.
