Bill Morosco has built a reputation as an elite Program Builder, tactician, recruiter and rising star in College Basketball at any level having led three different college programs to 22-plus wins in his very first season at all three institutions. Morosco has a wealth of experience having been a Head Coach at three Junior College Programs in addition to assistant stints at the NCAA Division I, II and NJCAA levels.

In his first year at Indian River State College, Morosco took a team with high expectations but a depleted roster; carrying just one player from the previous year’s team, to a Southern Conference Championship and 24-7 record. Morosco recruited and developed FSCAA Player of the Year Jayshayne Woodard as well as Southern Conference First Team Selections Micah Octave and Antoine Jacks.

Morosco brought with him a thrilling style of play fueled by an uber-aggressive pressing defense that finished second in the nation with 23 turnovers forced per game as well as a high-octane fast breaking offense that was top 5 in the nation in scoring at 95 points per game. Morosco’s teams have always been distinguished by their unselfish motion offense that was top 10 in the nation in assists and was led by 6 different players averaging double figures in addition to relentless effort to rebounding that finished 1^st in the country in Offensive Rebounding and 2^nd in Defensive Rebounding.

Supercharging his second program at Garden City Community College, Morosco led the Broncbusters to their best season in nearly two decades finishing 22-10 while breaking into the NJCAA Top 20 for the first time since 2005. Morosco coached Mohamed Diarra the JucoRecruiting #1 Player in the Country to KJCCC Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, 1^st Team All KJCCC, and 1^st Team All-American Honors as well as first year guard Tone Hunter to KJCCC Freshman of the Year and 1^st Team All-KJCCC. Again, Morosco’s offense continued to wow fans and opponents alike scoring 93 points per game.

Turning around another program, Morosco led the Independence Community College Pirates to an overall record of 23-9 matching the highest win total for the program since the 2010-11 season and advancing to the Region VI Quarterfinals in Dodge City, KS. Pirate standouts Demetric Horton, Jaden McClanahan and Sam’I Roe would all go on to receive All-Conference Honors. Morosco ignited the ICC offense averaging 91 points per game while boasting six different Pirates who averaged double figures. The Pirates also reestablished their pipeline to the NCAA Division I level sending six Pirates to the highest level of college basketball. In his second year at ICC, Morosco led the Pirates to the Quarter Finals of the Region VI Tournament while developing sophomore Tim Dalger who was recognized at 1^st Team All KJCCC and an NJCAA All-American.

At Barry University, Morosco served as the staff’s only full time assistant where he led the program in recruiting, player development, scouting and game planning. Morosco’s tutelage proved invaluable as the Buccaneers reached as high as #10 in the National Division II rankings, finished 4th in the Sunshine State Conference and advanced to the semifinals of the conference tournament. Morosco was also greatly influential in the development of Daniel Mortensen and Tylan Birts who were awarded 2nd-Team All SSC Conference and SSC All-Newcomer team, respectively.

For his efforts, Morosco has become highly respected from his peers and was ranked the #2 Division II Assistant Coach in the Southeast. The ranking panel described Morosco as: “He has already worked DI DII and JUCO. At the JUCO level, He helped lead EFSC to their best winning percentage in program history, a national third place ranking, and the NJCAA Final Four. They led the nation in rebounding margin, second in FG% defense. ‘They’ being the numerous players he developed to all-conference status.”

Prior to Barry University, Morosco coached at Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, FL. He helped lead the Titans to a 30-5 season, the best winning percentage in program history. EFSC finished third in the nation after reaching the NJCAA Final Four. The Titans led the nation in rebounding margin and were second in field goal percentage defense. They put six players on the all-conference team, including four on the first team. Ahmed Ali was named the conference player of the year.

Morosco worked the 2016-17 season at Presbyterian College in South Carolina. Under his tutelage, Jo'Vante Millner was named to the Big South All-Freshman team. He handled the opponent scouting and game planning and led recruiting efforts throughout the Southeast region.

Morosco, who spent the 2015 season as Director of Basketball Operations at The Citadel, oversaw the administrative areas of the Bulldogs' basketball program including video and practice coordination, team travel, supervision of team managers and graduate assistants along with other responsibilities. At The Citadel, the Bulldogs would go on to break several team records in individual and team offensive categories playing at the fastest pace in NCAA Division I basketball.

The Wellington, Fla., native spent the 2014-15 season as a Graduate Assistant at UC Davis under Head Coach Jim Les. UCD led the country in 3-point field goal percentage (44.7%) and win differential from the previous season (+16). UC Davis captured the Big West Conference championship and garnered conference awards for Player of the Year, Coach of the Year and Sixth Man of the Year. His duties with the Aggie basketball program included player development, on-campus recruiting, team travel, video operations, setup and breakdown of practice, recruitment mailings, database management and various game day duties assigned by the coaching staff.

Morosco graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida in 2012 with a degree in political science. He resides in Independence, KS with his wife Samantha.
