FORT PIERCE, FL - Indian River State College (IRSC) pushed it's Region VIII leading winning streak to six games Wednesday with a resounding 108-83 victory over the Polk State Eagles. The win officially punched IRSC's ticket to the Region VIII tournament in Niceville, FL as well as locking in a fourth place finish in the Citrus Conference, arguably the Nation's toughest conference.

IRSC was led by Deng Majak with 27 points and 11 rebounds, Mason Brown also added 20 points. Jayshayne Woodard added another triple-double, his third of the season, with 17 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists.

"Our guys really executed today. We knew they were going to try to present a few different problems for us throughout the game but I thought we handled it very well," said Head Coach Bill Morosco.

The Pioneers will recognize the sophomore class and their accomplishments on Saturday, March 2 prior to their game against #24 Florida Southwestern.
