Men's Basketball Suffer Tough Loss on the Road

IRSC Men's Basketball traveled to Florida Southwestern on Saturday where their winning streak came to an end by a score of 96-66. Florida Southwestern got a big lead early and the Pioneers struggled to get anything going offensively. Indian River was led by freshman Mostapha El Moutaouakkil who scored a team high 11 points shooting 4-7 from the field. Antoine Jacks was the only other Pionner to score in double figures, scoring 10 points. Florida Southwestern was led by Jadrian Tracey and Dezdrick Lindsay who each scored 18 points. Coach Morosco's thoughts on the game "Give credit to FSW they are a very talented team, and they were ready to play tonight. They never let us get in a rhythm and were the better team tonight. We will watch the film, learn from our mistakes and bounce back."
