Indian River Men's Basketball won their 8th straight Monday night in a high scoring game vs State College of Florida. Both teams looked to push the pace and the Pioneers connected on 18 3s to put SCF away in a matchup between the top 2 teams in the Southern Conference. Indian River was led by Sophomore Micah Octave who scored 20 points, shooting 5/8 from 3, to go with 4 rebounds and 5 assists. Sophomore Ocypher Owens led the Pioneers in scoring with a team high 21 points shooting 9/15 from the field. Freshman Mykol Sanchez was the 3rd Pionner to score 20 points as he connected on 6 his 8 3s on the night. SCF was led by Skylar Wick who scored a game high 26 points.
