Men's Basketball Suffers Two Loses At Juco Shootout

IRSC Men's Basketball win streak come to an end as they suffered a loss to #7 Nationally Ranked Tallahassee. The Pioneers were led by Sophomore wing Jyre Mccloud who had 19 points and 8 rebounds on the afternoon. There were four other Pioneers who all scored in double figures. Micah Octave scored 12, Jayshayne Woodard score 11 points and had 10 rebounds, Antoine Jacks and Ocypher Owens each had 10 points. Tallahassee was led by Addison Patterson who scored a game high 28 points for the Eagles. Coach Morosco's thoughts on the game "Tallahassee is a very talented team and they are ranked #7 in the country for a reason. Today was a battle as our guys rose to the occasion, Tallahassee made a few more plays than we did and they came out with the win today."

IRSC Men's Basketball falls short for the second day in a row as they lose to Polk State by a score of 83-76. The Pioneers had four players in double figures, Pablo Tamba led the way with a team high 16 points, Ocypher Owens scored 15 points and had 6 rebounds. Jyre Mccloud recorded a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Jayshayne Woodard contributed 10 points and 7 rebounds. Polk State was led by George Pridgett and Rod Jones who each scored 16 points and made 2 threes a piece. Coach Morosco's thoughts on the game "Polk State is a talented team who was ready to play today, they played hard for 40 minutes and were able to come away with the win."
