#7Pioneers Roll Past Webber International 112-34
Fort Pierce, Florida – Kyle Feit had a monster game scoring a career high 37 points on 9-14 shooting from the three-point line and an overall 14-20 from the field as #7 Indian River State College (IRSC) rolled past Webber International University J.V. 112-34. Webber International was a last-minute schedule change due to Florida Southwestern being placed in Covid Protocol. The game with Florida Southwestern has been rescheduled for February 7th.
IRSC started off a little sluggish only leading by five points 22-17 with 10:35 to go in the first half, but the Pioneers went on a 16-0 run and led 38-17 with just under six minutes left in the half. IRSC kept up the defensive pressure and closed the half with a 55-24 advantage.
The Pioneers kept attacking on offense in the second half scoring 57 points and limiting Webber International to just 10 points as they cruised to a 112-34 victory. The win increased IRSC's record to 16-2. Top scorers for IRSC were Feit 37, Bendji Pierre 20, Jonathan Cisse 11, and Bradley Alcime scored 10 points.
IRSC will be in action on Monday January 17th when they travel to Bradenton, Florida to take on State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota. Game time will be at 7:00 p.m.
