IRSC Men’s Basketball Score 117 Point In Win Over Pasco-Hernando

New Port Richey, Florida – It was another scoring outburst for Indian River State College Basketball Team this weekend as they defeated Pasco-Hernando State College, 117-48.  Kyle Feit had the hot hand for the Pioneers on Saturday afternoon as he scored his career high 33 points while connecting on 11 of the 20 three-point baskets made by IRSC.  This was the fourth game in which the Pioneers have scored over 100 points this season.

IRSC started off hot and held an 18-0 advantage with 15:25 remaining in the first half and within three minutes built the margin to 28-2.  The Pioneer did not let up and went into the half with a 69-28 lead. The second half saw all ten of IRSC team members receiving considerable playing time as they went on to a 117-48 victory.

Top scorers for IRSC were Feit with 33, Bendji Pierre 21, Doug Young 14, Jonathan Cisse 13, and Tyeree Bryan added 12 points.  The Pioneers dominated the glass, out rebounding Pasco-Hernando 67-23. Ocypher Owens pulled in a career high 13 rebounds followed by Pierre with 12, Bradley Alcime 9, and Bryan with 8.  Cisse led the team with 7 assists with Owens and Jacob Tracey dishing out 6 apiece.

The win moved IRSC's record to 11-1, and they are currently ranked 7th in the National Junior College Athletic Association Poll. They will be in action on December 7th for a home contest with ASA College-Miami.  Game time is set for 5:30 p.m. on the Massey Campus in Fort Pierce, Florida.
