Bendji Pierre Named Region 8 Player Of The Week

Fort Pierce, Florida – Indian River State College (IRSC) Forward, Bendji Pierre was announced as the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) player of the week.  The 6'8" big man from Irvington, New Jersey helped the #9 ranked IRSC Men's Basketball Team with two wins over Daytona State College 102-86 and Polk State College 86-71.  He averaged a 30.5 points per game, 6.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals for the week.  He shot an incredible 66.7 percent (26-39) from the field and 44.4 percent (4-9) from the three-point line and scored his career high as a IRSC Pioneer with 40 points on 17-of-19 shooting points against Daytona State College
