FORT PIERCE, FL- Indian River secured a non-conference victory against ElEV8 Academy, triumphing 8-2. The Pioneers now stand at 35-11 overall for the season, with just one conference series remaining before the playoffs. The standout performance on Tuesday came from the Pioneers' pitching staff, who allowed only one earned run and struck out sixteen over nine innings. Freshman Lucas Glendinning earned his fourth win of the year, not allowing a single base runner over four innings of work. Sean Kaebler led the Pioneers with two hits, including a double, while Raul Feliz and Matt Lashley combined to drive in five runs.
The Pioneers will hit the road on Thursday, April 25th, as they head to Ocala to kick off the final Citrus Conference series of the year.
