Win Streak Snapped

Win Streak Snapped

FORT PIERCE, FL - Indian River State College falls to Seminole State College 11-2 on Thursday night. This ends the nine-game winning streak the Pioneers had dropping their record to 11-5 in Citrus Conference play and 22-8 overall. The Pioneers fell behind in the first inning and couldn't get anything going offensively, putting together only eight hits as a team. However, Brett Patten and Vincent Samuel led the way offensively both getting two hits. Pioneers pitching staff gave up fifteen hits combined over nine innings while striking out ten and only walking one.

The Pioneers look to get back on track this Sunday, March 24, when they travel to Seminole State for a double header to finish up the series. Sophomore CJ Hanson will get the nod in game one and Cade Drohan will get the ball in game two.
