FORT PIERCE, FL - Indian River State College gets it fourth straight win an against Elevate 10-3. The Pioneers improve to 4-3.
Down 3-1 to in the third inning the Pioneers chipped away eventually breaking things open in the fifth inning scoring five. Sophomore Sammy Beir picks up his first win in relief with two scoreless innings. The freshman, Lucas Glendinning, gets his second start of the year for the Pioneers as he goes four innings striking out five and only giving up three runs in the no decision effort. Three other freshmen Michael Malone, John Riordan, and Andris Barroso contributed on the mound all throwing scoreless innings in relief.
Raul Feliz and Brett Patten led the Pioneers offensively combining for six hits and four RBIs. Pioneers also had a season high in stolen bases successfully stealing six bases.
