MELBOURNE, FL - Indian River extends winning streak to three with a win over Eastern Florida State College on Friday, February 2, 4-2. CJ Hanson got his second start of the year giving up only five hits and one run over four innings of work. Cade Drohan picks up his first win of the year striking out four over five innings in relief.
Raul Feliz led the Pioneers with three hits while Diego Alana and Matthew Lashley each drove in runs in the winning effort.
Indian River took an early three run lead through the first four innings and never looked back adding an insurance run in the ninth with a Diego Alana sac fly. The Pioneers had eight hits and worked eight walks which seems to be a growing theme with this team as the offensive continues to impress early this season.
