Brett Patten Named FCSAA Region VIII Baseball Player of the Week

TALLAHASSEE, FL - After opening weekend freshman outfielder Brett Patten was named FCSAA Region VIII Player of the Week, the first award winner of the season. 

Patten batted .471 (8-for-17) with six runs scored, one double, one home run, 10 RBI and two stolen bases in four games. Ten RBI's is now the number to beat as it is leading the nation in that category. The New Jersey native had two hits in each game and also scored and recorded an RBI in each outing, was 2-for-5 with four RBI vs. Miami Dade, and went 2-for-4, scored twice and drove in two runs vs. State College of Florida. 

Catch Patten and the Pioneers in action today, January 31, on Mike Easom Field at the Massey Campus in Fort Pierce as they host Keiser University. First pitch is set for 2:00pm.
