Pioneers Early Lead Over State College of Florida Baseball Sets Stage For Victory

Indian River State College Pioneers grabbed an early lead on its way to a 7-5 victory over State College of Florida Baseball on Monday.  Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity scored on a single by Vincent Samuel and a double by Daniel Baez in the first inning.

Jefferey Gonzalez was the winning pitcher for Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity. The pitcher went three innings, allowing one run on three hits, striking out five and walking one.  Brian Ehrlich threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.  Ehrlich recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity.
