Indian River State College Pioneers Claims Lead in Extra Innings to Defeat Palm Beach State

Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity ran off with the lead late in the game in a 4-3 victory over Palm Beach State on Friday.  The game was tied at three with Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity batting in the top of the eleventh when Landon Lowe doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity knotted the game up at three in the top of the eighth inning, when Sean Kaebler drew a walk, scoring one run.

Matthew Pizzarello pitched Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity to victory. The southpaw allowed one hit and zero runs over three innings, striking out two.  Jace Trautner threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen.  Pizzarello recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity.

Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity launched two home runs on the day. Gage. Adams had a long ball in the seventh inning. Vincent Samuel put one out in the seventh inning.
