Eastern Florida jumped out to an early lead and the Pioneers did little to change things as the one sided game progressed. The Titans lead wire to wire in this 12-2 victory that was called after seven innings. The game appeared on Sport Centers Top 10 plays when outfielder Sam Duran robbed Pioneers slugger Thomas Summers of extra bases on a line drive struck into the right centerfield gap. The Pioneers look to answer on Wednesday as this same Eastern Florida team heads south to take on the Pioneers in Fort Pierce on the campus of Indian River at 3:00pm. Starting for the Pioneers will be George Helbig who was strong in his last outing against Eastern Florida.
