17 Swimmers and Divers selected to the CSCAA Scholar All-America Team

The College Swimming and Diving Coaches association of America recently selected 17 members of the Indian River State College Swimming and Diving programs to the Academic All-America Team. To be selected, athletes needed to compete in the NJCAA National Championships and achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Members selected from the IRSC teams were:

Cornelia Almqvist, Lola Dragosavc, Ella Gates, Gina Miller (NJCAA Swimmer of the Year), Katelyn Owl, Madison Price, Marija Prima, Esther Rydbeck, Sydney Weatherspoon, Rylee Woelk, Koen Adams, Luke Altman, Russell, Burton, Michael Deans, Sam Hlavachek, Peyton Ming, and John Zeiger.

The 2021-2022 season saw IRSC also win their 44^th and 48^th National Championship for Women and Men respectively.
