In the third quarter, the Pioneers came out to play outscoring DSC 25 to 14. The pioneers would go on to win their 17th game of the season by defeating DSC 67-49.

The Pioneers continue to use all their weapons by having four players in double digits. Rapuluchi Ngorka contributed 16 points and 19 rebounds, Freshmen Jasmine Peaks added 14 points, Tavi Habib tallied 13 points and eight rebounds.

"Tonight, I felt like we started off too slow, Daytona gave us some troubles on the offensive end that we had to overcome in the third quarter. In the second half we came out and played Indian River basketball" Coach Robinson mentioned.

With the Win, the Pioneers are 17-3 and their next game is Saturday against Miami Dade.
