With the two wins this weekend against Santa Fe and Tallahassee, the Pioneers remain 6 – 0 at home. Friday Night the Pioneers defeated Santa Fe 70 – 57, in the first quarter IRSC held Santa Fe to a single digit quarter giving up 5 points. The Pioneers led the entire game, defeating The Saints for the first time this season.

Maryanne Logsdon led the Pioneers in scoring with 17 points, four steals, and four assists. Freshmen Tavi Habib scored 17 points and six rebounds. Breanna Campbell tallied 12 points and four steals.

In the second matchup, Indian River defeated Tallahassee Community College 81 – 51. The Pioneers offensive efforts was on full display shooting 55% from the 3 point, raining a total of 16 threes.

Maryanne Logsdon hit 7 threes' shooting an impressive 77%, scoring 26 points; four rebounds and four assists. Tavi Habib added 12 points and seven rebounds, Shomari Phillips contributed 10 points and four rebounds.
