WBB Drops Conference Opener

Wednesday evening Indian River State College women's basketball program faced off against Palm Beach State College in a back and forth matchup Palm Beach won 72 – 64. "Defensively we didn't execute our game plan which caused us to struggle to get stops," Coach Robinson noted.

Je'Nya Wilder is continuing to be a consistent scoring threat for the River contributing 16 points and seven rebounds. Freshmen Maryanne Logsdon added 12 points and six rebounds. Sophomore Shanice Gordon added 11 points and seven rebounds. "We're at our best when we have multiple player's scoring in double digits, tonight we failed to knock down shots consistently," Coach Robinson mentioned.

The River will be back in action this Saturday on the road against ASA College at 2pm, the game held at the Bucky dent.
