Coach Robinson mention "tonight performance was an emotional one for us because the polls gave us a 9% chance of winning, to be less than a minute away in defeating Daytona is tough way to lose. I am proud of the way we fought and battled tonight, it was definitely the first time we played a full 40 minutes being locked in to our game plan. A key mistake on my part was an important posession that cossted us tremendously. We'll take this game, watch film and continue to learn."

Freshmen Duo lead the way for the Pioneers Breanna Campbell scored 22 points while Jaqarra Phillips added 17 points. The River gain key contributions from the sophomore class as well, Je'Nya Wilder stepped up big scoring 11 points and 9 rebounds, Leah Dunn added 10 points and 7 rebounds.
