The River Women’s Basketball losses at Santa Fe

The River Women’s Basketball losses at Santa Fe

Saturday Afternoon Indian River State College women's basketball program travel to take on the number eight team in the State. After going into halftime tied, the River suffered their third loss in a row losing 85-69. "As a program we have faced some adversity early losing our second leading scorer in Loni Sales, we're young group and our inexperience is showing early. I believe if we can maximize our focus on the little things we will begin to win ball games," said Coach Robinson.

The River freshmen Breanna Campbell and Jaqarra Phillips lead the way scoring 17 and 16 points. Sophomore Leah Dunn had one of her best performances scoring 16 and 6 rebounds. Freshmen Chakoi Mitchell continue to be a presence in the paint scoring 8 points with three rebounds.

Indian River Pioneers return home Thursday November 14 at 5:30 to face Elite Sports.
