Indian River Splits with Eastern Florida

After a walk of loss, a 3-2 loss to Eastern Florida IRSC bounced back winning the second game of a double-header 13-5.

In game one IRSC took a 2-0 lead into the last inning but EFSC rallied scoring three runs to secure the win.

IRSC starting pitcher Taylor Barrett went the first 4 innings, allowing 0 runs, 2 hits, striking out seven EFSC hitters.  IRSC relief pitcher Devan Ryan suffered her first loss on the season.

Nicolette Luzzi, taylor Wroten, and Bridgett Dunham had hits for IRSC. In game two IRSC collected 16 hits in the 13-5 win.

IRSC sits atop the conference standings at 7-1.  The Lady Pioneers next game is at South Florida State on Wednesday.
