The River Defeats Keiser and Ave Maria in Double Dual Meet

FORT PIERCE, FL- On Wednesday, November 5, the Indian River men's and women's swimming and diving teams defeated the defending NAIA champions, Keiser University, and Ave Maria University in double dual meet action held at The River.

In a very close contest that saw The River trailing early in the competition, the teams managed to secure victories in 7 of the 13 events contested for the women and 6 of the 13 for the men's team.

Winning events for the women were Paulina Chavis (100 free), Amelia Brown (200/100 free), Kelly Zwart (50 free), Jada Toland (1m dive), Tazmyn Robson (500 free), and the 200 free relay with teammates Brown, Zwart, Khloe de Santana Guidry, and Robson. On the men's side, victories came from Noah Smith (200 free, 200 back), Dorian Taylor (1m dive), Kalaa Hall (100 free), Spencer Biggs (3m dive), and Danzhel Tuliao (200 breast).

Men's:
Indian River State College 121.00 — Keiser University 116.00
Indian River State College 183.00 — Ave Maria University 47.00

Women's: 
Indian River State College 136.00 — Keiser University 105.00
Indian River State College 190.00 — Ave Maria University 44.00
