IRSC WINS the Suncoast Conference Swimming Championships
This past weekend, IRSC competed in the Suncoast swimming championships held at IRSC. The event took place over 3 days with IRSC establishing a lead from day one and managed to hold on to it till the very end.
In addition to winning the overall team competition, IRSC also had shared swimmer of the year honors in both the women's and men's competition. Sophomore Esther Rydbeck and freshman Masha Prima each picked up 3 wins each to secure the honor. On the men's side, sophomores Caleb Brandon and Aramis Rivera each picked up 2 victories and a second-place finish.
Throughout the competition, the River women won 11 of 13 individual events and 2 of 5 relays, and in men's competition IRSC won 10 of 13 individual and 3 of 5 relays.
