IRSC Swimming and Diving Competes against University of Tampa and Nova Southeastern University
The IRSC swimming and diving teams returned from the winter break to face the University of Tampa and Nova Southeastern University in a double dual meet competition on Friday January 7th.
In the women's competition, despite putting up some good swims, IRSC was defeated by both visiting teams.
On the men's side, IRSC was able to defeat Nova, but narrowly missed the win against Tampa coming down to the last relay.
Overall, the men's team has six events wins coming from the 200 Medley relay (William Beckstead-Holman, Michael Deans, Peyton Ming, and Luke Altman), Luke Altman in the 50 free and 50 fly, Michael Deans in the 50 and 100 breaststroke, and William
Beckstead-Holman in the 50 backstroke.
IRSC will next compete at the TCA Winter Open January 21-22.
