River Men’s Basketball Shines at Eastern Florida State College Classic

MELBOURNE, FL - It was a big weekend for the Indian River State College Men's Basketball team as they traveled to the Eastern Florida State College Classic and took down two tough Georgia opponents with back-to-back wins.

The River opened the event on Friday, November 14, with an impressive 94–81 victory over South Georgia Tech. Caleb Cameron led the charge with a dominant performance of 23 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists. Elliot Ikuobase was electric from beyond the arc, pouring in 23 points while hitting 7 of his 11 three-point attempts. Anthony Ferrer added 12 points to provide key support, and Terryon Stebbins contributed 7 points along with 9 strong rebounds on the glass.

Indian River kept rolling on Saturday, November 15, securing a gritty 77–71 win over South Georgia State. Anthony Ferrer came off the bench on fire, finishing with 19 points to spark the offense. Adam Squire delivered a huge all-around effort with 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists, impacting the game in every area. Isiah Cameron also stepped up with 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists to help seal the victory.

Across the two-day Classic, The River proved they can compete with anyone—showcasing toughness, depth, and balanced scoring from top to bottom.
