Men's Basketball Remains Undefeated at Home

Indian River Men's Basketball closed out the regular season with a win on sophomore night by a score of 90-84 over State College of Florida. Indian River held a 7-point lead going into halftime, and were able to extend the lead to 18 in the 2nd half before SCF mounted a comeback and took a 3 point lead before the Pioneers closed it our for good. The Pioneers were led by sophomore Jyre Mccloud who scored 21 points and dished out 4 assists. Sophomore Micah Octave recorded a double-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals. Freshman Deng Majak scored 15 points (5-8 FG) and grabbed 8 rebounds. SCF Was led by Ronnail Tape who scored a game high 22 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Coach Morosco's thoughts on the game "SCF has a lot of talent, and that was on display today. I'm proud of our guys for continuing to play our brand of basketball for 40 minutes and we were able to make some big plays down the stretch in order to end the regular season with a win today."
