In the first matchup against ASA, the Pioneers got things started in the first inning. R Sanabria singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run. Which allowed for the Pioneers to put up four runs in the second inning. D Starks, C Adams, and R Guida all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Jeffery Gonzalez was credited with the victory for Indian River State Pioneers . The righthander allowed three hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out six and walking one.  CJ Williams, Alberto McCarthy, and Matthew Pizzarello all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

In the second matchup, Pioneers defeated ASA 10-3 on Thursday thanks to a timely seven runs in a big fourth inning.  The offensive onslaught by Indian River State Pioneers  was led by C Adams, R Guida, M Montes, David Hernandez, and Cameron Carroll, all knocking in runs in the inning.

 Pioneers got things moving in the first inning. R Sanabria drove in one when Sanabria doubled.

Indian River State Pioneers  took the lead for good with seven runs in the fourth inning.  In the fourth Adams doubled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs, Guida singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run, Montes singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, Hernandez singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, and Carroll tripled on a 2-0 count, scoring two runs.
