Indian River State College Pioneers Claims Lead in Sixth Inning to Defeat Eastern State College

Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity snagged a late lead and defeated Eastern State College 5-4 on Wednesday.  The game was tied at three with Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when #1 induced D Ante Starks to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity got on the board in the first inning.  Chase Sanguetti singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run.

Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity pulled away for good with two runs in the sixth inning.  In the sixth Daniel Hernandez singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Tibur Rivero led the Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity to victory on the hill. The pitcher allowed five hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one.  Dale Michuad threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.  Michuad recorded the last five outs to earn the save for Indian River State College Pioneers Varsity.
