On March 1st and 2nd IRSC Baseball program split series vs Eastern State. On March 1st the River cruised to an 8-2 victory. Cole Brutcher scored the scoring with a solo homer in the first inning.
IRSC Baseball team scored score three runs within six innings: Diego Arroyo, Carter Chancey, and Wade Cuda all drove in runs in the frame.
Christian O'Kelly was the winning pitcher for Indian River State College Pioneers. He allowed five hits and two runs over seven and a third innings, striking out five. Nick Adams threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.
The River continued to see improvements by racking up eight hits on the day, Jeremy Davis and Cole Brutcher each collected two hits to lead Indian River to a win.
On March 2nd the River suffered a 5-3 on the road loss to Eastern.
