Indian River Pioneers Esports Find Success Early

Indian River State College Esports program begin fall 2022. The team is making strides in becoming a nationally known program taking the Collegiate Rocket League by storm. The CRL East qualifiers consisted of 320 teams from colleges across North America, out of those programs only 16 teams move forward to compete in league.

On October 2nd Indian River qualified for the CRL East Fall 2022 League, competition is set to begin within the next couple days. Head Coach Shaun Wightman stated "In the esports world, this is a huge accomplishment, and I couldn't be prouder of our guys. We are the only Florida School in the CRL."

The team is led by team captain Blade Taylor who has been a huge piece in the pioneer's success.
