Indian River volleyball struggles on the road.

The Pioneers struggled to find its flow in Gainesville against the Saints, losing 3-0 on the match.

In the first set, the Saints came out fast with a ten-point lead at 5-15. The Pioneers finally found their groove and were able to string a couple of runs but unfortunately, it was too late. Santa Fe closed out set one 16-25.

In the second set, the Saints were riding the momentum, taking a four-point lead at 4-8. The River battled back going on a five-point run, with two of them being back-to-back kills from Freshman outside, Sara Dasic that helped IRSC take the lead by one, 9-8. Trading blows back and forth; the Pioneers continued to drive throughout the set but could not hold on as the Saints took set two 22-25.

Unlike the previous two sets, IRSC bolted out to a great start, taking charge at 13-8. The Pioneers continued to seize control with back-to-back kills from Sophomore outside, Olivia Melton that pushed the score to 16-10. As things looked bright for the River, the Saints slowly chipped away, closing the gap to within two 20-18. In the end, the Pioneers came up short losing set three 23-25.
