IRSC Volleyball Prepares for Season Opener

Indian River State College volleyball team scrimmaged NOVA Southeastern University this past Saturday, August 17. The IRSC took two sets from the NOVA Sharks (29-27, 18-25, 17-25, 15-13, 13-15).

The Pioneers dominated the match in blocking with a total of 13 team blocks.

For IRSC, freshman Mallori Roney recorded 10 kills, 4 block assists and 4 aces while sophomore Ayanah Henry registered 6 kills, 2 blocks and 1 ace. Sophomore Jacki Schmitz led the Pioneers in blocks with a total of 8.
