Pair of Charlotte High Volleyball Players Sign with Indian River State College

The Indian River volleyball team has announced the signing of Skylar Gribben and Kaitlyn Chavarria. Both players hail from Charlotte High School. Gribben, an outside attacker, started her volleyball career her freshman year and has developed into quite the force on the left side. In addition to her formidable attack, Skylar is a scrappy defender. She has been named to all-tournament teams as well as winning the Defensive MVP award. She is currently finishing up her senior campaign with Venetian Bay Volleyball Club.

Kaitlyn brings in a lot of experience as a middle blocker. She was a 3-year starter for her alma mater and set a record this past season for Most Blocks. She has also won Offensive and Defensive awards during her tenure at CHS. On top of her stellar volleyball career, Kaitlyn also runs track and was part of a State Runner-Up 4x100 relay team. Kaitlyn brings a lot of natural athleticism to add to the roster.
