Diving Coach, David Suba, enters his 10th season with the IRSC Swimming and Diving Program. Over the past nine years, Coach Suba and his divers have accumulated ten NJCAA diver of the year awards, eight NJCAA national records, eight IRSC team records, 22 individual National Titles, and four NJCAA Coach of the Year awards (2015, 2009, 2008, 2007). His recruiting has brought in some of the most talented athletes in the country. Under his leadership his divers have graduated and moved on to programs such as the University of Tennessee, University of Louisville, Florida State University and Florida Gulf Coast University.

David Suba came from Columbia, South Carolina where he ran the age group diving program, South Carolina Divers, and was a volunteer assistant with the college divers competing with the University of South Carolina. During that tenure his team had many Junior Olympic national qualifiers, finalists and a number of top ten finishes at JO Nationals.

Coach Suba is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from West Liberty State College in West Virginia with a degree in Graphic Design. In Ohio he coached at John Carroll University from 1980-1995. During that time he produced eight All-Americans and 29 Conference Champions. He also coached age group and high school diving where he continuously developed elite divers, including numerous Junior National finalists, two U.S. National Team members, six High School State Champions and eventual Olympian, Kyle Prandi.
